Say SORRY; add years to your wife’s life   1 comment

According to press article,

Scientists have claimed that when a man refuses to apologize to a woman for something wrong he has done, he could put her at risk of a heart attack.

A study has found that women who are starved of an apology for rude or hurtful behaviour suffer an increase in blood pressure, which can raise the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

The research also showed that those who hear a well timed sorry calm down more quickly, with their blood pressure returning to normal 20% faster. On the other hand, a mans blood pressure takes 20% longer to recover after an apology suggesting men become more worked up after hearing an admission of guilt.

Results of tests indicate that there are potentially healthy benefits to forgiveness and apology.

So guys, go ahead and say “Sorry” (of course, alongwith “I love you”), if you wanna enjoy your married bliss life longer.

Loving someone   1 comment

Loving someone opens your heart to the most beautiful feeling in this world. You feel that, overnight, the world has become a lovelier place and consider yourself fortunate to be alive and be able to experience such a feeling, and when that love culminates into marriage, you feel as if you are on the seventh heaven. The world seems to be a place full of love, happiness and contentment.
So today, tell someone “I love you”. Could be anybody, yr wife, husband, fiance, pa, ma, bro, sis, pal, or just anybody.

Some thoughts to ponder   2 comments

‘Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away,’

Think about this.. You may not realize it, but it’s 100% true.

1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much that they would die for you.

2.. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.

4. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

5. You mean the world to someone

6. If not for you, someone may not be living.

7. You are special and unique.

8. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won’t get it, but if you trust God to do what’s best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look; you most likely turned your back on the world.

11. Someone that you don’t even know exist, loves you.

12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

13. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you’ll both be happy.

14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

Once in a Blue Moon   Leave a comment

New Year 2010 eve, i,e, December 31, 2009 night will be a Blue Moon night.

It will be a second full moon in the same month. Hence, its called a Blue Moon, and it comes once in 19 years.

So what will you be doing on the Blue Moon night, to classify it as a “Once in a Blue Moon” event of your life.

Party ! Of course you need to party and make merry. But party with a different set of ‘new friends”. You have several occasions in a year (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) to party with your known friends.

This New year eve, make new friends. Party with the underprivileged by showering them with goodies. Let them know that your heart sometime beats for them. Show them your concerns and love & that you care.

Your usual New Year plans will line the pockets of those hoteliers and caterers, who already have a swelling pocket.Rather, lets stitch those pockets with a  hole in them.

So ACT today and show the world that you care for those unfortunates and that ‘Once in Blue Moon‘ night of your life a truly memorable one.

That’s a good way to end the year 2009 on a positive note.

Do-It-Yourself births   Leave a comment

An increasing number of women are staying at home to receive the stork. In what is termed as do-it-yourself births, expecting mothers are delivering babies at home without medical help, according to a report. At times even without their husbands assistance.
According to recent figures by the National Center for Health Statistics, the number of unassisted home births in the US jumped by nearly 10% between 2004 and 2006, climbing from 7,607 unassisted births to 8,347 births. About 60% of the nearly 25,000 home births logged in 2006 were attended by midwives, a figure that experts expect will also rise. Unassisted as in no doctor or midwife present.
Ruth Wiley, an obstetrician and gynecologist at Texas Health Fort Worth, says shes seeing an increase in women choosing a do-it-yourself birth at home.
Jennifer Margulis of Ashland, Oregon, thinks birth should be a private party no doctors or midwives invited. So when her daughter Leone Francesca was born at home last month, only Margulis and her husband, James, were in attendance . My husband and I were the only ones there when she was conceived, MSNBC news portal quoted Jennifer as saying. I thought we should be the only ones there when she was born.
Margulis is part of a very small but growing number of women who are choosing to deliver their babies at home without the help of health professionals. Some choose to have a husband or family member help, while others opt to deliver of their babies completely on their own.
While do-it-yourself deliveries are still uncommon, many doctors and midwives consider them dangerous . Risks can range from hemorrhage in the mother to problems with the babys oxygen supply.

Tattoo on your heart? Japanese new way to say ILU   2 comments

What are the different ways in which people express their love to their Valentine? How about a tattoo on your heart?

True Love Tattoos offers you a brand new way to really express your love for that special someone. Don’t ink your skin like everyone else, ink your heart. Or as they refer to it, your soul-canvas. So, do you really love your partner as much as you say?heart

Here’s your chance to prove it.

A true love Tattoo is a relatively safe procedure thanks to years of uncompromising research. The operation takes less than 3 hours from choice of tattoo until you have a polaroid proof in hand, however, they strongly sugest that you bring someone to escort you home after surgery.

The team is highly professional and fully educated, so far, they have performed over 500 successful operations without any major complications. They provide a wide range of styles from old school to Japanese. You choose the art, they put it on your heart.

Some questions and answers of this:
Q: Does the ink fade with time?
A: There are case studies indicating that falling out of love may have a slight fading effect on the ink, apart from that, this baby is for life.

Q: Can i still be a heart donor?
A: Yes, you can. However, be aware that research suggest that the new owner of your heart tend to get an unexplainable crush on the person whose name is tattooed on the heart.

Q: How will i prove to my loved one that i hounered him or her with a true love tattoo?

A: You will recieve one polaroid picture of your tattoo on place, and also a video recording of the whole procedure. By the way, this video comes with a great soundtrack from new amazing rock band “Vikunja”.

Q: Is it dangerous?
A: It’s not totally safe, but remember, it can be even more dangerous not to express true love.

Q: How long does it take?
A: It depends on the art work. big hearted patients tend to take longer.

Q: Is it dangerous if i have a high blood pressure?
A: On the contrary, it make the colours shine brighter.

Do not get a tattoo if you have a weak heart, are ink intollerant or if you’re not sure you’re really in love. avoid getting a tattoo if you have a newly broken heart. Let it heal for at least 3 months. Laser erase surgery is available but not recommended. They also supply a special divorce discount if you can prove your partner cheated on you. In some cases they recomend you to cover up your old tattoo with a new one, they are especially skilled in making football team crests. This satisfaction cost about 9 000$ to 12 000$ depending on difficulity of tattoo.

Don’t know if it is true, but certainly a bizarre news item.

To My Bride – a poem   Leave a comment

An excellent & touching poem by Steven Reiser

To my bride, I give you my heart

Sharing love each day, from the very start

To my bride, I give you my kiss

Filling each day with joy and bliss

To my bride, I give you my being

To love, to play, to work and to sing

To my bride, I give you my mind

Learning each day to be more kind

To my bride, I give you my soul

Growing together to be more whole

To my bride, I give you my life

Rejoicing each day that you are my wife.
