Did anybody say “recession”?   Leave a comment

BBC lauded the entrepreneurial spirit & business acumen of the 7 sisters envisioned 50 years ago and nurtured by the sheer dedication of 45,000 women to accomplish the $100 million business that is called “LIJJAT”.

It was purely hardwork and determination for financial independence that made these ladies develop this “institution”. I call it an “institution” because this “business model” was an example of what can be done to come out from “recession”.

(All those who have been laid off and are dejected with life, all I will say is “If you want to die, die working hard; rather than shaming yourself by committing suicide”.)

Jai Ho. Hats off and 3 cheers to all those who helped make “Lijjat” what it is today.

Certain principals such as “no donations” have helped them develop their inner strengths and overcome the adversities.

So if you want to recognise somebody efforts, do not donate; instead buy their products / services for a fair price, which will give them a sense of accomplishment and make them work more better.
