Kuwait Paper Dump   2 comments

An excellent initiative.

Of course, it is a great idea. After all paper, is made from a rapid going scarce resource, wood, which is also causing many a problems like global warming, environment pollution, etc.

Now we see many cases of paper being dumped at us everyday – leaflets, brochure, advertisements, etc. that are printed and circulated by the millions almost every month.

Kuwait Paper Dump (as the name says) is about where people can dump their brochures and whoever needs it can pick it up. So what better way than to get it online.

I wonder, having started this noble cause, if we can get the companies to stop / reduce the no. of such brochure being printed.

Also we need to think of recycling all this paper dump that gets generated everyday. Recycling initiatives need to be started. Some corporates need to take the initiative towards a better environment and provide avenues to collect these paper dump. Locations such as public place, schools, offices, community sites, mosques are ideal places.

So lets see this initiative take off soon.

What is your opinion?

  1. Thanks for writing about us 🙂

  2. I had read about you earlier.

What I wanted to do now is to have you start an initiative with a paper company to start the recycle process and make people aware.

There are hardly any social or environmental causes that people in Kuwait are active about. We need good forums to start the initiatives towards these goals.

    Keep up the good work.
